SPORTSGPT — Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 26, 2026

SportsGPT ("we," "this site") is a free chat tool for asking about sports scores, standings, schedules, and stats. This page explains what happens to your information when you use it. See also our Terms of Service.

What we collect

We don't require an account, and we don't collect names, emails, or passwords.

Third-party services we use

We don't control these third parties' own data practices — please check their policies directly if you want details on how they handle data on their end.

Cookies

We don't use tracking cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is your chat history, saved locally via your browser's storage — this never leaves your device unless you send a message (which only sends that message's text, not your whole stored history file, to Google's API for a response).

Developer API

If you use the SportsGPT API as a developer, we store your API key and basic usage counts (number of requests, timestamps) so we can enforce rate limits and detect abuse. We don't store the content of your API requests beyond what's needed to generate a response. See our API documentation for details.

Children's privacy

This site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
